Mission is the evangelistic life that comes from walking with the Lord and I believe that the work of ministry are the footsteps left behind that reveal this journey. Ministry without faith may be seen as just the same as mere humanism. An African nation widely known for its animal kingdom and poverty, a country that needs a time machine where both primitive and modernity cultures coexist, a place where a whirlwind of problems are tangled up and never ending… but also where there is a procession of continual aid and missions ... During the last 12 years Kenya has taught me a lot. 안정규 선교사님은 선교단체 Good Foundation의 대표시며, 눈이 보이지 않는 유전병을 가지고 계시지만, 변함없는 복음에 대한 열정으로 케냐의 작은 마을 미카메니에서 충성된 증인으로 사역하고 계십니다. 안정규 선교사님의 주된 사역은 MDF 구축 사역과 BLM 이며, 사역의 내용은 다음과 같습니다.
Missionary Ahn is a representative of the Mission organisation, Good Foundation. He has gradually been losing his sight due to a hereditary disease and is now almost blind, but with his passion for the unchanging gospel, he is working as a faithful witness in the small town of Mikameni in Kenya. The main ministries of Missionary Ahn are MDF (Minimum Dynamic Foundation) building ministry and BLM (Bible Life Ministry). The details of these ministries are as follows.
BLM (Bible Life Ministry)
BLM은 소수의 목회자를 엄선하여 3~4년간 공동생활 하며 철저히 훈련시켜 교회 및 선교 지로 파송하는 사역입니다. BLM을 통해 케냐 목회자들이 성경과 신학을 깊이 연구하고,
그것을 그리스도인 삶의 전 과정과 영역에 어떻게 구체적으로 적용해야 할지를 면밀히
탐구하게 됩니다. BLMI (BLM-institute) 목회자 훈련 이외에도 상시적으로 성경과 사역을 연구하여 전체사역의 브레인 역할을 하는 사역입니다.
BLM is a ministry where a small number of pastors are carefully selected and live in community together for three to four years, thoroughly trained and sent out to churches and missions. Through BLM, Kenyan pastors are able to deeply study the Bible and theology, and delve deeper into how they should apply it to the whole area of their Christian life.
In addition to pastoral training, BLMI (BLM-institute) is a ministry that involves continuous study of the Bible, and examines and serves as the “brain” of the whole ministry.
MDF (minimum dynamic foundation : 최소 역동 기반)
가장 근본적이며 없어서는 안될 사회를 지탱시킬 최소한의 요구인 MDF를 마을 단위로
구축 하는 사역입니다. MDF는 건강한 그리스도인들로 이루어진 목사, 교사, 비즈니스맨의 결합체가 지역과 사회문제를 자생적이고 창의적으로 극복하게하는 사회의 핵심이요
원동력 입니다.
Minimum Dynamic Foundation (MDF) recognizes the importance of establishing the fundamental building blocks for promoting a sustainable society in each community. MDF requires the cooperation of mature Christian pastors, teachers and businessmen to resolve the social and local issues autonomously.
1. 교회 – 그리스도인과 그 공동체인 교회의 탄생 없이는 어떠한 노력과 해결도 모래위에 지은 집에 불과합니다.
2. 학교 – 성경의 진리를 일반 학문과 정신계발의 영역에서 찾아내고 응용하여 실천하는 학교를 세웁니다.
3. 비지니스 – 돈을 이해하고 어떻게 벌고 쓰는 법을 가르칩니다. 그리고 건전한 사회적
기업을 창출하여 바람 직한 경제적 발전을 돕습니다.
Church - Without the building up of Christians and churches, any effort and resolution is only like that of a house built on sand.
School - Establishes a school that discovers and applies Biblical truths in the field of general studies and intellectual development.
Business – Teaches how to understand money and how to use and earn money. Also creates healthy social enterprises to help with building desirable economic developments.
